Namtso Lake
Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel around 08:00 AM, and then we will begin our journey to Namtso Lake. Along the way, you will be treated to stunning views of Nyenchen Thanglha. During the summer months (May to August), you may encounter sheepherders with their tents, as well as groups of sheep and yaks grazing in the fields. Namtso Lake, often referred to as Heavenly Lake, awaits us with its breathtaking beauty. You can enjoy a leisurely trek around the lakeside and Tashi Island. Situated at an altitude of about 5000 meters, Namtso Lake is truly a “lake in the sky,” nestled on the highest plateau in the world. Spending a night at the lakeshore is an unforgettable experience. The night sky is exceptionally clear, offering a mesmerizing display of stars twinkling above you, seemingly within arm’s reach. It’s a moment that feels as though you could pluck the stars right out of the sky.
